Two uneven ovals in sterling silver, set at the exact distance where they stop competing. The gap between them is said to hold questions only stars can answer; astronomers decline to comment. Balanced and polished by hand.
Sterling silver darkens with time and air. Wear it often and it stays bright; bring back the shine with a soft polishing cloth. Take it off to swim or clean, and store it on its own so it stays unscratched.
